On behalf of our reputable client in the automotive industry, we are seeking an experienced and qualified candidate for the position of:
Serial Procurement / Disposition
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Procurement across diverse material groups
- Monitoring dates and deadlines
- Independent supplier communication for issue resolution
- Developing processes to prevent out-of-spec parts
- Optimizing storage and stock level control
- Creating packaging and transport solutions for cost savings
- Delivering cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain
- Negotiating logistics agreements with transport agencies
- Analyzing and refining incoming logistics processes, preparing documentation, and training team members
- Coordinating logistics with suppliers
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Relevant work experience
- Advanced MS Office skills
- ERP experience in storage balancing (SAP knowledge preferred)
- Strong English skills (spoken, read, written)
- Teamwork abilities and organizational skills
